Rhonda Vincent’s Christmas Time is her new project just in time for the holiday season. She’s joined by Brent Burke (resonator guitar), Stuart Duncan (fiddle), Kevin Grantt (bass), Aubrey Haynie (mandolin), Brent Rader (percussion), Aaron McDaris (banjo), Jake Stargel (guitar), Josh Williams (guitar), and Jens Kruger (banjo). There is also a host of other artists contributing to background vocals and string arrangements, including the Oak Ridge Boys, Willie Nelson, Gene Watson, Dolly Parton, Larry Gatlin, Charlie Daniels, and Bill Anderson.

Vincent contributes four new original compositions to the project which include “Dreaming Of Christmas,” “Milk And Cookies,” “Christmas Time At Home,” and the title-cut “Christmas Time.” Other selections are familiar to the holiday season such as “Angels We Have Heard On High,” “Away In A Manger,” “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen,” “Silent Night,” “Oh, Little Town Of Bethlehem,” and the ever-popular “Jingle Bells.” “The Twelve Days Of Christmas” features all of the country music celebrities, each taking their own day in their own way. The CD ends with a wonderful Christmas medley that features Rhonda’s vocals accompanied only by pianist Michael Rojas. This time of year, many releases reach us during the holidays and this year, Rhonda’s Christmas Time is sure to be on the list of gifts for friends or stocking stuffers.
