As a solo banjo man, he has been nominated 24 times for a Grammy including two years in a row for his Blazin’ Bluegrass Banjo and Todd Taylor: Taylor Made Bluegrass. The 11-track disc features Taylor’s remake of classic rock songs, “Freebird” (Lynyrd Skynyrd) and “Stairway To Heaven” (Led Zeppelin). He tackles a variety of other genres including classical (“Bach Cello, Suite No. 1 In G Major” and “Beethoven’s Nightmare”), blues (“Banjo Blues”), and western music (“Six Guns”).
